Derwent Valley TSSC are Derbyshire's local branch of the Triumph Sports Six Club and are the organisers of the annual Peak Run. We regularly hold meetings, social events and trips out and about in our beloved cars.
Yes, some of us have beards. Yes, some of us drink Real Ale. And Yes, some of us have beards and drink Real Ale. But not everyone has a beard and not everyone drinks Real Ale. The Derwent Valley Area is what ever you want it to be. Mostly our meetings are a social gathering, but there is always an opportunity to discuss those irksome problems, and there is always the club tool hire scheme. We don't bite and always make new members very welcome.
Our Members come not only from Derwent Valley (Derbyshire) but as far a field as Nottinghamshire, North Leicestershire, North Staffordshire and South Yorkshire.
Any Triumph owner is welcome to join us. We currently have owners of Spitfires, GT6's, Heralds, Vitesses, TR's, Stags ,Dolomites and a Bond. For Full Membership details visit the Triumph Sport Six Club website.
There are many other local areas to the TSSC all over the country. We do not require anyone to formally join the club, all visitors will be made very welcome.
Our main annual event is the Peak Run which in 2010 will celebrate it's 22nd year. This typically involves 70 to 100 classics driving around the beautiful Peak District and, of course if your car is up to it there is also the 'Peoples Choice' competition.

We hold very informal club meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at our child friendly venue - Smalley Common Ex-Serviceman's Club, 338 Belper Road, Stanley Common, Derbyshire, DE7 6FY.
Meetings typically involve around an hour of idle chat, catching up with friends, discussing those perpetual problems etc. Followed by a quiz, a mini run, or games etc. Finally general notices and information on the latest activities or inter area challange before settling back down for an idle chat until we get thrown out. | |
