Hi all, is spring really here?

Yes with the lighter nights and lovely evenings it got the Smalley Common car park half full with classic cars.

The meeting started with some 20 old (Terry) and new faces having a chin wag, then it was down to business.

Julie raffled off some chocolate Easter eggs which always goes down a treat this time of year. Next it was time for a feely bag quiz. A cunning plan of mine to get the D.V. men back on top as we have been thrashed by the women quite a bit in the quizzes. A total of 30 small items hidden in 10 lettered material bags, you had to touch them with your fingers to feel in the sealed bags and name all the items within. Most items related to car parts but to make it fair for the girls some beauty products were included. Eventually two male winners were triumphant with a score of 32, well done.

A run down of forthcoming events by Mike and a print out of the next calendar months was very helpful. If anybody has not given John their baby photos for the Peak Run quiz will you please do so asap.
