Hi everyone.
Well our numbers was a little down for a February meet night. I think these cold winter nights are keeping everyone in. Everyone who made it had a brilliant time with constant bouts of laughter throughout the evening. Also they were treated to a bowl of soup and a bap to warm us up – thanks Julie we look forward to sampling your baps again on a cold night.
Roll on the light nights when we all can catch up with everyone else and get out in our classic Triumphs. Colin, Donna, Olivia and Bob returned so we had quite a bit of updating from them.
Julie did a logo quiz which went down really well. It was her first time hosting and she didn’t get too many in the wrong order. I was in a corner of the room just getting over a stomach bug and Colin enjoyed joining in with the quiz and the night off.
Just a polite push and a reminder that you must be thinking about which events you are attending this summer as some have entry deadline dates and others such as the Donington Historic Festival and the Silverstone Classic have special discounts on entry fees but you need the club codes and book before 31st March to take advantage of them.
Looks like it is going to be another fun packed year with a brand new event on the calendar…The Manchester Camping Weekend in September.
Well folks just looking forward to the summer when we can enjoy some fun packed weekends with everyone.
