A big thank you to all those who made it on Tuesday night, battling through the torrential rain on the way there. I did not expect anybody to be there but it seems that nothing could stop the Derwent Valley regulars from their beloved meet.

The night started well with a noggin and a natter then straight into a cryptic quiz on music artists.

Yes…you guessed it! - It was won by a woman yet again. This time it was Kim. The only way to put a stop to the ladies winning every time is that we will have a quiz on car engines !!!

Some of us attended a slot car race night at Notts area meeting on Monday 23rd of February. Good food and company made the night very enjoyable. Thanks to Claire, Nigel and Co for arranging the evening.

Looking forward to the Peak Run we are just making final plans. It’s all falling into place quite nicely. I promise to all that come the 21st Peak Run on 19th to 21st June that it will be the better and bigger than it’s ever before.

On the 26th April we will be celebrating 'Drive it Day' – We are planning on a run to a local attraction. There may be a small admission charge – more details on the website nearer the date.

Meet at Sainsbury’s Car park in Ripley at 10am for a 10:30 start.
